This website, our products and services are made available to you by The Massage Company Ltd on the basis of the following terms and conditions:

By ordering services and products on this site, you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions cannot be varied except by changes made by The Massage Company, which we may make from time to time. In particular, nothing said by any representative of The Massage Company will operate as a variation to these terms and conditions or constitutes a legal representation of the company.

Massage bookings, purchasing services and/or products:

The advertising of services and products on this site is an 'invitation to treat'. That means your order is an offer, not a contract of sale between you and The Massage Company. Prices, spas, retreats and practitioner-availability won't be contractually confirmed until you receive the 'confirmation of order' email once credit card authorisation has been confirmed and service and/or stock availability have been checked. We can only accept orders from customers over the age of eighteen.

Massage recipients are responsible to ensure that the consultation takes place and that they are suitably healthy to receive the treatment provided. All of The Massage Company’s practitioners are qualified and fully insured. The Massage Company is therefore not legally liable for problems that occur after treatment is provided.

Massage bookings are subject to practitioners’ availability and in the event of difficulties in fulfilling your order, The Massage Company can only replace the original massage booking with a treatment to the same value as per the original booking.

To fulfil your booking request and avoid delays, The Massage Company requires accurate contact telephone number/s and email address for the recipient and the correct address of treatment, including post code. The Massage Company cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by inaccurate or incomplete information.

The Massage Company and /or its’ practitioners reserve a right to decline massage bookings and / or treatment without an obligation to provide any reason for doing so.

Cancellations, returns and refunds:

Massage bookings which are cancelled 48 hours in advance are refunded in full. Bookings which are cancelled or rescheduled before 48 hours are charged in full. This is simply due to loss of earnings for the therapists involved.
In the event that we are unable to fulfil your booking or provide a substitute that is acceptable to you, we will refund your payment in full within 30 days of being asked to do so.

We aim to alleviate stress in your life and to ensure that each and every product purchased at The Massage Company is of the high quality that you’d expect. However, for any reason you are unhappy with any product purchased at The Massage Company please contact us immediately. We will refund, or exchange any item as long as both the packaging and the products remain intact and are returned in perfect condition within ten working days. Return postage will only be refunded if the goods are faulty.

To make a return, please fill out the back of your delivery note, giving the reason for the return and post the item securely in its original packaging. Please ask for Proof of Postage from your Post Office. We cannot refund items lost or broken in transit. Returns are dealt with as soon as they arrive, but please allow 14 days for your return or exchange to be processed.

Gift vouchers:

The gift voucher will usually be posted to you or the recipient on the day of purchase or the next working day. Gift voucher may be redeemed against treatments but not for cash. Vouchers are personalised and can be used once by the named recipient.

Gift vouchers may be redeemed by contacting The Massage Company, quoting the voucher’s reference code. Vouchers are made available by The Massage Company on the basis that no guarantee whatsoever is given regarding the quality or availability of the service.

Gift vouchers are valid for a period of up to 6 months from the date of purchase.

Delivery Information & Rates:

Your order is usually processed within 24 hours and despatched within 48 hours, subject to availability. International orders are generally delivered within 21 days. As with all our products, we will advise you of any undue delays and will always contact you prior to despatch.

Payment information:

Please note, due to the nature of our secure payment system, your credit card is authorised at the point of sale. Your card will then be billed within 5 days of authorisation.
Should you decide to buy via off-line methods you will only be charged for items once they are ready for despatching.

We also accept phone orders and can be contacted on 0845 33 12345. To place your order by phone, please have your credit card handy as we will need payment details.

General:

The Massage Company will not be liable for any failures in the performance of any of their obligations under these terms and conditions caused by factors outside their control.

The Massage Company reserve the right to restrict, suspend or terminate access to its’ website and /or services for any reason at any time.

We accept no responsibility for any interruption to The Massage Company’s site and /or services for reasons beyond our control.

This Agreement supersedes all prior agreements, arrangements, warranties and understandings between you and us.

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your common law and statutory rights.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law, and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
